I’ve never written to anyone about a product before, but I have to now.  My shoes arrived yesterday, I opened the box and put them on, and may never take them off!  These are the finest boat shoes I have ever worn.  No kidding, the workmanship, insole, fit, everything is so far above what I have previously owned.  I have worn Sperry boat shoes for the past 40 years and finally became so irritated by their sloppy fit after moving production off shore, that I finally went looking on the internet for an American made boat shoe.

I received my color 8 pinch penny loafers over the weekend and they are really awesome.  Very comfortable, fit great and look great.  The details on the shoes are just wonderful, you can really tell skilled craftsmen put these things together.

Originally, I was just looking for a new pair of shoes and wanted to get something made in the USA so I did a google search and found Rancourt.

This is my second pair and I couldn't be happier with these shoes and the service and the price point.  I work in manufacturing accounting and I have worked in midsize American factories continuously for the past 20 plus years.  (I even worked with a plant up in Biddeford Maine for a while)  So the fact that the shoes come direct from the factory really appeals to me.

We just added two new penny loafers to our collection. They are called "weltline" penny loafers because the penny strap (also known as the saddle) goes all the way down to the welt line and is stitched between the midsole and the upper. They are both in beautiful calfskin with matching stitching so they can be worn for more formal occasions. Find them in our shop under the "dress category"

We are now offering two new belts, color 8 chromexcel and color 8 shell cordovan, both are lined and have nickel plated brass roller buckles. Keep in mind that if you plan to buy the shell cordovan belt, they are made to order and it will take about three weeks. Also, shells are very small so we have to splice them to make the belt, therefore there is a seam in the middle. We can also make belts in black, navy, green, and tan (saddle) shell - you can order the color 8 belt but specify in the notes section which color you'd prefer.
