Well made boot, but could be better without the interior seam that runs across the middle of the toes. However, I would give a 5-Star rating to customer service. They worked with me to stretch the boot and changed the sole for a more robust model - the ranger, which works well for me especially on trails and hills. Excellent American company. Would buy products from them again.
In 2008 I bought a pair of Bison leather Chukka Boots from Chippewa Boots. I'm a hunter and I wore them hunting as well as to work every day. After three years I decided to buy another pair but they had discontinued them. I searched every where and what few styles I found left a lot to be desired. Then I discovered Rancourt Shoes and the Blake Chukka and it was beautiful shoe. I live in Springfield, Massachusetts and my son and I took a ride to the factory. In addition to ordering the bison leather which had a beautiful grain and a light brown lustrous color i added the inner lining and Vibram soles. i'm 71 and I own a pair of Bally dress boots which I bought in 1970 and they look as if they're 5 years old and a pair of Oxfords which I bought in '72 and they also look 5 years old. I was taught to take care of my things to make them last. I take deep pride in wearing my Blake Chukkas not only for their stunning appearance and style but, also, for their hand made quality.

Love my boots--broke in fairly easily given the quality of leather and construction. Look great!
Great fit and color.
