The shell gets multiple layers of wax and special, all natural, proprietary finishing creams before being burnished and buffed to perfection. This quarter brogue cap-toe boot is all about the details, we've pulled out all the stops to present you with the best craftsmanship we could muster. The Porter boot also includes the best pair of leather laces in the world. These jaguar laces in Dark Brown are specially formulated to be water proof and incredibly durable. The bottoms are a very popular combination of leather midsole with a leather storm welt and the Vibram #430 mini-lug sole in black. AA antique brass eyelets provide a solid foundation for these beautiful laces with the top two rows being "speed hooks" for easy on and off. While the Porter Boot may look like a casual boot, the sophistication present in this masterpiece makes it very easy to pull off with a heavy weight wool or tweed suit or your favorite pair of jeans. It's best paired with wool trousers.
