I wore these almost every day this summer. Even in the hottest weather, for long walks or bike rides or strolling to the neighborhood pool, these were the comfiest shoes on the rack.
Experience after receiving my new pair were to immediately try them out and over a couple of days.
Striking visually and fun to mix and match from work to recreation.
Very comfortable and an easy break-in. Did get a 1/2 size larger and good decision as that allowance gave a more comfy feel (I have a size 9 ranger moc which while comfortable was just a tad on the snug side).
Rancourt has given me the two best shoes I own. The Dirigo leather is soft and feels great, I was surprised considering it was the 'lower quality' leather used by Rancourt. The shoes were so tight to start that I almost sent them back, but I trusted the workmanship and sure enough, the uppers are now completely molded to my foot. Extremely comfortable. Easy to support made in USA when the quality is top of the line. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, this boat shoe is probably twice the price of Sperrys. But it's also twice as nice. After years of being a broke college kid and then twenty-something, I was excited to buy myself a quality pair of boat shoes. What's not to love: made in USA, handmade, quality leather, trusted name?
Time will tell how well these hold up, but I can already tell these are quality. The only complaint I have is really a compliment in disguise: they came very stiff which caused a bit of a blister one day, but that has fixed itself after just a few wears. I see this as a sign this is made with thick, quality leather.
