Color is NOT as shown on your screen
The color is REALLY like a greyish bone color- Not saturation or honey brown hues as this image shows. Think beige, or 'grandpa orthopedic shoe' grey.
Color aside, this is my 5th pair of 1ST generation sneakers. (2nd gen minimalistic design looks like alibaba-chinese-drop-ship-"me-too" product. Not the down to earth tactile american hand made vibe you get from gen 1.

Henry,
thanks for your feedback. The color of Horween's natural chromexcel does vary quite a bit as it is dependent on the saturation of natural oil and wax and not controlled with pigments or dyes. This does put us in a difficult position when trying to accurately reflect the color on a computer screen given that each batch of leather has color variations. The color shown on your screen is also affected by your monitor, browser, monitor settings etc. as well. Natural chromexcel is particularly difficult to get "just right" in photography. I promise we are doing our best and will continue to do so.
