I came across Rancourt a few years ago while searching for products that were only available in the USA. My first pair of shoes was a breath-taking experience and I am hooked on them forever! Upon receiving my slippers, I was unsure if I loved them. Since they were expensive and the design was similar to other slippers, I was unsure whether to keep them. I put them on my cold feet and they'll stay there! My feet now feel warm because they fit like a glove. Although I have various handmade slippers from Canada, my feet still feel cold. The ability to find craftsmanship, stitching, and attention to detail is not present anymore. Rancourt is a rare gem of impeccable quality. The internet is awash with scams, fake leather, and knockoff shoes, resulting in a feeling of the Wild West. Typically, I wear a size 9 1/2, but I decided to order size 9. I am aware that Rancourt's leather stretches, so I will handle them feeling a bit tight now.

These are very well made, and exactly what I was looking for. However, they do seem to run small. I have been wearing them daily for a few weeks now, and they have stretched a tiny bit, but I would still order a half size up if I were to buy them again. To be clear, I am not dissatisfied AT ALL, they are the best slippers I’ve ever had! I know they will last for years, and they keep my feet toasty, even in my unheated entryway.

They fit perfect in the length, but narrow in height (across the ball of my foot area), feel tight in this area, but maybe they will stretch some as I wear them. I would recommend to a friend and buy again myself.
