Description
The Heritage Court Classic collection achieves a level of maturity rarely seen in sneakers. Each pair is handcrafted from "heritage" materials like Horween's Chromexcel leather, chestnut leather laces from Auburn Leather and antique brass eyelets. These are time tested materials that we've been using in our footwear for generations. Each pair is lined with Horween's casco horsehide lining and rounded out with our signature "Compass" sneaker sole, a sole you won't find anywhere else. The Heritage Court Classic low takes sneakers to a new level of sophistication. You can freely pair them with chinos or slacks for the office or find them just as well suited with denim on the weekends. You'll find each pair to be comfortable, durable, and great looking. Best of all, they will only get better with age as each one of these heritage materials was chosen for it's ability to age gracefully. Made in Maine, USA. Each pair is made to order, meaning we craft each pair specifically for you.

Color is NOT as shown on your screen

The color is REALLY like a greyish bone color- Not saturation or honey brown hues as this image shows. Think beige, or 'grandpa orthopedic shoe' grey.

Color aside, this is my 5th pair of 1ST generation sneakers. (2nd gen minimalistic design looks like alibaba-chinese-drop-ship-"me-too" product. Not the down to earth tactile american hand made vibe you get from gen 1.

Rancourt & Co.

Henry,

thanks for your feedback. The color of Horween's natural chromexcel does vary quite a bit as it is dependent on the saturation of natural oil and wax and not controlled with pigments or dyes. This does put us in a difficult position when trying to accurately reflect the color on a computer screen given that each batch of leather has color variations. The color shown on your screen is also affected by your monitor, browser, monitor settings etc. as well. Natural chromexcel is particularly difficult to get "just right" in photography. I promise we are doing our best and will continue to do so.
