Description
The driving moc, iconic footwear that has become synonymous with New England prep and Italian Sprezzatura. The driving shoe market has largely been dominated by Italian makers due to a distinct lack of a true American driving moc... until now. Our driving mocs are genuine handsewn moccasin construction with a twist. The rubber dot sole is built into the shoe, sandwiched between the vamp and the leather lining. What this means is a lightweight, flexible, comfortable shoe that gives you great pedal feel when driving and a spring in your step when kicking around town.
The Westbrook driving moc is crafted from Horween Chromexcel, a full-grain American cowhide leather made in Chicago by Horween Leather. They are fully lined with Horween's Casco horsehide lining. Made in Maine, USA.
*These driving mocs cannot be re-soled, we do not recommend using these shoes if you will be doing a lot of walking. D (medium) is the only available width, if you need a wider width we recommend ordering half a size larger.

EXCELLENT SHOE HOWEVER BEEN A 8.5 FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS AND YOUR SHOE WAS A FULL SIZE LARGER. NO BIG DEAL BUT RETRUNED THEM FOR AN 8 (WHICH UNFORTUNETELY WONT SHIP UNTIL OCTOBER AFTER WAITING THREE MONTHS FOR THE FIRST PAIR. THANK YOU,

Stunning craftsmanship
The shoes are amazing. Everything about the sleek design and premium leather is admirable. The stitching is spot on. The color is perfect and matches what was on the web site. Sizing though: I am a standard size 11. I have a very neutral foot e.g. width, profile and length. I ordered a size 11 but probably would have been better suited for a size 10. I wear them with double socks and put some heel pads in place and with that I can get by. It is a shame though because otherwise I'd wear these lmoc's pretty much everywhere...even pickle ball(kidding).

I prefer moccasins and a driving model is ideal as I still drive manual.
