Flawlessly fantastic!
Okay, so these shoes have an average 4.9 review. I thought, no product is *that* good, right?! So, I held off on these shoes for a while. But then the fine folks at Rancourt & Co. did that little pre-order sale and I was sold. The wait was difficult, but so worth it, and I’m now wondering why they’re not 5.0. Someone was too critical, in my humble opinion. Maybe one person slipped and accidentally gave them 4.0? Or they were impatient, maybe?
I’ve never owned a nicer pair of moc shoes. In fact, I think I can confidently say, none of my friends or family has ever owned a nicer pair of mocs. Though I plan to wear/shoe off my Baxters regularly, so that may (read: should) change.
The quality of the materials is 100% as advertised. I have multiple Chromexcel products, a couple in a similar shade of brown. None of them are near as flawless as these Baxters. I’m not really exaggerating. I’ll add a picture, but I don’t think that will do them justice. The quality of construction is also immediately apparent, the folks hand making these shoes definitely care about their work, and they should be proud if the work. Maybe most importantly, they’re comfortable right out of the box. I know they’ll mold to my feet over time, and I’m looking forward to these laces breaking in a bit, but these feel like they don’t have far to go to become very comfortable.
To be honest, the only thing that upsets me is that I didn’t start investing in Rancourts a long time ago. I feel like I’ve read this…
