Solid Toe Cedar Shoe Trees

I have bought shoe trees from Rancourt in the past, but this is the first pair with a thin pointed back which doesn't fit in the back of a shoe very well. It wants to make a point in the back rather than a smoothly rounded back which distributes the pressure through the whole back of the shoe evenly. You can see this in the picture above. Mine also did not have brass handles, although some of my older Rancourt ones did.

I have a pair of the Chandler Longwing brogue in 9.5 and the shape of these trees fits perfectly. So much better than those generic split-toe trees available elsewhere. I love these shoes so purchasing trees just made sense.
