We left these unlined so you can still wear them without socks if you want but we added double leather soles so you don't have to worry about burning through the soles too quickly. Have these in tan and tried the dark brown but I wasn't happy with the finish on the leather. I returned and tried the Roughman and soooo happy I did. They are so nice and I love the look of this leather in combo with the lighter sole. Same comfort and quality as the tan. All in all, these are truly exceptional loafers!!
Thank you! Treated myself to my first real pair of teacher loafers. Bought four or more pairs from diff’t mfg’s.These were by far the most superior of the bunch. The others had all kinds of issues. High sides that bite, poor construction & ill fitting cheap rubbery material. None of it made much sense to me. Why is it so hard to find a decent pair of nice shoes for work? I was surprised how much research went into finding these loafers. Feeling lucky to own them. They are ready to wear out of the box. They fit perfectly. Took the mfg advice and ordered a half size small. These are just beautiful and well worth the investment.
I wear these shoes everyday to work and all over the place and they are clearly going to withstand the test of time regardless. So well made!
