Dirigo Blucher - Nick in DC

Great value for the price; in a sea of synthetic leathers and dress sneakers, these are a nice buy for a USA made derby shoe. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and great work day option for the office 3 seasons a year.

Pros: handsome, hard wearing leather, voluminous last for diferent foot shapes, roomy toe box; soft, quiet and comfortable soles.

Cons: The Dirigo collection might be a smidge less refined in terms of finishing than the rest of the Rancourt lineup, which I suppose is the point. Small dye stain on the side of the sole but 99.9% of passerby would notice. All told, you’d have a hell of a time finding another USA made derby shoe at this price point.
