What more is there to say about the iconic penny loafer? We've certainly made our mark over the years with our Pinch Penny Loafer, one of the five pairs of shoes that every man needs. We utilized Tan Labrador leather, a full grain cowhide that is burnished by hand here at Rancourt & Co. We left these unlined so you can still wear them without socks if you want but we added double leather soles so you don't have to worry about burning through the soles too quickly. Go ahead and wear these every day, they were made for it. This is a pair of loafers that just about does it all. Genuine handsewn moccasin construction. Made in Maine, USA. The perfect summer loafer: pair with chinos, a lightweight oxford shirt, and a panama hat and we promise you'll be the best dressed guy at the BBQ.

Great Shoes!

I bought my Shoes three years ago right out of college. It was the most I had ever spent on shoes and I was genuinely nervous about it. Couldn't have been happier.

They've lasted beautifully and I get compliments on them all the time, people stop and ask about them more than any other shoes I've owned. Just shipped them off for resoling and refurbishment, which honestly says it all. I'm not buying a new pair, I'm taking care of these ones. That's how good they are.

Worth every penny.

Great Shoes

I’ve owned plenty of Goodyear-welted boots and shoes, as well as a pair of Easymocs, but these Pinch Penny Loafers were my first true loafers. After a few months of regular wear, here are my thoughts:

The craftsmanship on these loafers is outstanding. I really appreciate the true moccasin construction—it’s a rarity these days and adds a level of authenticity that stands out. They’re incredibly comfortable, with the sizing guide proving to be spot on. The break-in period was minimal and entirely manageable.

I’m not one to baby my footwear, and these loafers have handled my tough, everyday use exceptionally well. They’ve developed a beautiful patina over time, showcasing the character you’d expect from high-quality leather goods.

Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed. These have quickly become a staple in my rotation, and I was so pleased with them that I picked up a second pair in black during the TG/BF sale. Highly recommended!
