Description
The ideal all-weather shoe. Stroll in style and don't fret about your shoes getting wet. Our Heritage Brown leather is highly water resistant and the storm welt / Vibram mini-lug combination is built to take on the elements. The Derby style is considered a little more casual with it's blucher type lacing and pairs perfectly with denim or chinos. This is the perfect shoe at the office or when you're out with some friends on the weekend. We designed and crafted the Camden Derby with versatility in mind.
The uppers are crafted from Heritage Brown Leather which is durable, low maintenance, and highly water resistant. They are fully lined to give these shoes all of the structure and support you'd expect from footwear of this quality. The Vibram #430 mini lug sole with leather midsole and leather storm welt adds a nice touch of sophistication without sacrificing practicality. The Vibram soles stand tough in just about any condition. Blake Welt Stitch Construction, Made in Maine, USA.

LONG TERM REVIEW - TWO PAIR OF CAMDEN DERBY SHOES (Virtually Indestructible)
I have two pair of these shoes that I bought a few years ago. If the shoes could talk, they would tell you that they really wish that they had gone to a better home. I wear these shoes all the time, and in every condition you can imagine.
I live in the country. I might wake up, shine a pair up, and wear them to the office. But, when I get home, I am very likely to change clothes and wear the same pair out into the pasture to check the cows, or into the garden to do a little work. I wear them in the rain, in the mud, in the fields, working on old cars, etc. I walk three or four times a week around the pasture for exercise, and 90% of the time I wear these shoes. It would be fair to say that my "do everything in these shoes"
These shoes look great and are ridiculously durable. I interchange the two pair that I have. I have had these shoes for a few years and, with the exception of one re-soling, they are in great original shape. No matter how atrociously filthy I get them, I can always clean and polish them right up into a very respectable appearance. I am rough on these shoes, yet they seem to take the endless abuse in stride.
I don't know how the stitching has stayed intact.
I congratulate the individuals who make these shoes. You make an incredibly long-lasting, quality shoe.

Everything I was looking for in a shoe
I really appreciate very well made products that are manufactured in the USA. They're 1.5x heavier than my previous shoes, telling me the materials going into them are more substantial and of a better quality. They were bedroom slipper comfortable out of the box and required zero break in. My only regret is that I didn't buy them years ago.

Old time quality.
The shoe style fits 2024. The quality is something extremely hard to find now a days. The shoes are on a heavy side and means you’re getting materials that will last. These are keepers not throw-always. I did visit the store to purchase so I would get the proper size. So glad I did because I ended getting two sizes smaller than normal and a wider shoe, which I had to order. They arrived slightly ahead of schedule and fit great. I appreciate a company not giving up on making a quality shoe. Yes, not inexpensive, but well worth it!
