Beautiful Loafers
Absolutely love these. Just finished breaking them in and not only do they look like a million bucks, they're comfortable and feel great. If you're on the fence, I'd say go for it and give them the time they need to break in.
The Beefroll Penny Loafer is our most iconic style. Heritage Brown Leather is impregnated with a proprietary blend of natural oils and waxes, this special tannage gives the leather a number of distinctive properties. It has a beautiful bright finish, unique "pull-up" character, soft and flexible structure, and a "self polishing" property. Over time the leather will "bloom", which means the oils and waxes make their way to the surface, leaving a light white film on the leather. It's as simple as buffing with a horsehair brush or soft cloth and you'll restore the beautiful finish of the leather. In addition to the unrivaled quality of Heritage Brown, we've crafted these shoes without a leather lining and using our genuine handsewn moccasin construction. As you wear them your feet will warm up the leather and they will literally mold to your feet. We are absolutely confident that these will become your favorite pair of shoes. The Beefroll is rounded out with a natural leather midsole and our Watertight oiled leather outsole for a modern yet sophisticated dress-casual look. Genuine handsewn Moccasin construction. Made in Maine, USA. Sizing: The Beefroll Penny Loafer in unlined Heritage Brown tends to run larger than our other shoes. It's best that these fit snug at first as they will stretch and conform to your feet. We recommend ordering a half size down from your normal size. eg. If you normally wear 10D, order 9.5D.

They can be dressed all the way down with jeans or shorts, but also work well at an office or conference at the smart casual level. I've even gotten some compliments on them, which is rare for me. The natural CXL leather adds to the versatility. The creasing I've gotten appears flattering - as opposed to some pretty gnarly loose grain I've had on cheaper leather shoes. They felt totally fine when initially trying them on at home. Into the first evening of wearing them to the office, the left shoe felt like it was crushing the arch of my foot. Really unpleasant. Meanwhile, the right shoe felt perfectly fine. It might have been due to my feet expanding during the day. It was like this for the first…
