Great last for casual handsewn shoes like boat shoes and ranger-mocs. Classic round toe like the 114 but slightly longer with a broader and taller toe box for a roomier fit. Order your normal Rancourt size. Sizing Guide
Had been looking at getting a camp moc as opposed to a boat shoe- came across Rancourt. Since they are somewhat close by I stopped in at their showroom in Lewiston ME. Glad I did- it was helpful to get the insider tip on sizing for their camp moc. Man suggested going 1/2 size down and slightly wider- I am normally 9D and in camp moc I took an 8 1/2 E. The fit is fantastic and you can tell its a quality build.
Other than sizing, a note on the color. The website photos looked much darker, but the actual medium brown buckaroo is much lighter than the online image.
Initially ordered my standard size 13 and they were too large. Ordered a 12 and they were very snug but with shoe stretchers and time, the shoes have loosened up. The shoes are okay several months later but still a bit snug. A 12 1/2 would have made for a perfect shoe for me.
My first order were a bit too small. Despite following the fit instructions. I returned them, and went up a 1/2 size, and now we are cooking. I am a Brannock 12 E. My first order was 11.5 E, but were too toght. I went to 12 EE second time round, and all good. At least all good after waiting 3 months …
