These are my favorite new Moc's - the material is amazing and they look great with everything. My only concern with them is that they're very slim, and pretty tight at the top of the foot.
Unbelievable quality and comfort. Have worn a similar style camp moc for years and decided to pony up for the Rancourt version. Like the boatshoe and pinch loafer the break in was easy and the shoe is top notch. Extremely comfortable and well crafted.
I have tried them all, and these Rancourt Gilmans are the best. Buttery smooth leather, no break in period needed. Comfortable right out of the gate. Perfect shape. No need to keep searching. Look forward to wearing them for years.
Bought these a few years ago. Been wearing them during summers and sometimes in rainy weather or about town. Fantastic. As good as the old USA LL Bean camp Mocs of the 1980’s I wore for years, whether they were in or out of style. I had no idea that they were “out of style” for a time. More than one younger person has remarked on them and I always refer them to one of the Maine originals. Also great service and after-sales support.
A really iconic shoe and I’m glad these guys make them. Buy a pair to support this great American company making a great American product! I’m getting another pair for a gift and sending mine in for a resole in another year or two.
