My Favorite Loafers
These shoes are great! Rugged but attractive. I get compliments all the time. When was the last time your shoes got a compliment?
I agree that they run a bit large but not a problem.
I highly recommend these shoes.
In 1967, David Rancourt started the Rancourt family on the path to crafting some of the highest quality footwear in the world. The 1967 Collection is a reflection of the Rancourt family's heritage in shoemaking. Each pair in the 1967 collection is unlined and cut from heavyweight Chromepak, a leather that was ubiquitous in Maine moccasin making in the 1960's. This 10-15oz. leather is unparalleled in durability as it is remarkably thick and rugged while the high oil content helps it retain some pliability while adding exceptional pull-up. The Vibram 232 Mini-lug soles lend a traditional look that complements the heavy chromepak leather with added versatility and durability.

Love these shoes. The outsole gives all season traction and the leather is super thick and hopefully should last me many years. They are very good looking in a classic never-go-out-of-style way. I’ve been wearing them daily for about 3 weeks and they are getting more comfortable and the pull-up on the leather looks great.
These run about 1/2 size large. I’m a 10D and the 9.5D fit great. Also, the leather stretches a little with wear. They’re excellent! Quality leather and construction. A nice dark brown. They have a nuke-proof appearance. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
Like other Rancourt shoes, for me these suffer from a 3/4 sole insert. The transtion of the footbed from the back 3/4 into the forward 1/4 is uncomfortable. They look great though.
Hello Ben,
Thank you for the review! Please note that upon request, we can use a full-length sole insert.
Your support is greatly appreciated.

Supa! I am delighted. I wish cromepak was made in black. And these had a black or brown crepe sole. But the vibram is fine.
